Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Dream Centers. We appreciate you taking the time to fill out this brief profile. The purpose of this Interest Profile is to help us determine where and how to best utilize your skills so your experience will be meaningful and rewarding. You will be contacted to discuss volunteer opportunities once this form is received.

What Dream Center are you interested in volunteering for?
Pontiac Dream Center
What is your area(s) of interest?
Men's Clothing Closet: Sort, hang and organize donated items and help men find clothing during store hours.
Women's Clothing Closet: Sort, hang and organize donated items and help women/children find clothing during store hours.
Hygiene Kits: Assemble hygiene kits with donated supplies (bi-monthly) or collect donations for hygiene kits (on-going).
Laundry Room: Wash and fold tablecloths and other items used for Dream Center dinners and events; measure liquid soap into single use containers.
Kitchen: Organize the kitchen and date-sort food items; assist kitchen staff in preparing and serving meals for Dream Center guests.
Sports: Support the Dream Center staff and PAL (Police Athletic League) by coaching, coordinating or volunteering for various sports.
Mentoring: Provide guidance, advice and encouragement to an individual or couple.
Life Skills Workshop or Class: Share your expertise, either one-on-one or in small groups, to develop skills for daily life or for employment. Skills may include, but are not limited to, child rearing, painting, house maintenance, budgeting, plumbing.....
Donation Center: Organize incoming donations and determine donation needs.
Food Pantry: Organize food pantry and distribute food on Wednesday evenings.
Computer Lab: Supervise youth or assist adults with job applications and resume writing.
